TKA Athletics utilizes an online registration program called Athletic Clearance. All student-athletes interested in out of season conditioning, pre-participation, tryouts, and team participation must set up an online account. Required FHSAA forms that need to be scanned and uploaded on the athletic clearance website are linked below. *No paper copies need to be turned in or emailed.
- Register at www.athleticclearance.com
- Log in (previous users) or register for first-time users.
- Pick all the sports you think your student-athlete might be interested in trying out for during the school year. For example, if you pick a fall sport and then decide to try out for a winter sport, you will need to go back online and register for the winter sport. Choosing a sport is simply stating you might try out for that sport.
- Follow all prompts and fill in all information.
- Athletes’ status is pending until you receive a confirmed cleared-to-play email.
REQUIRED FORMS and upload instructions:
All student-athletes – FHSAA EL2
New students grades 9 -12 – FHSAA GA4 (9th grade only if attended another high school)
Homes School Students – FHSAA EL7, EL7V, EL9, EL15 and transcripts
Upload all forms to the athletic clearance website.
Upload page 4 only of the FHSAA EL2 to “EL2 – Pre Participation Physical.”
Upload FHSAA GA4 to “GA4.”
Upload all home school forms to slots provided online.
STUDENT-ATHLETE REQUIRED COURSES
FHSAA required courses for all athletes per the FHSAA EL3 consent form. By signing the EL3 page 2 and 3, you have agreed that you have watched, read, and understood the information.
The FHSAA has enacted educational requirements for participation in athletics. All student-athletes must complete the courses (see below) before the first practice date for their sport. Failure to comply with these policies may result in fines and/or sanctions.
Policy 40.1.1 – All FHSAA member school head coaches, paid/supplemented coaches, and student-athletes must annually view the FREE NFHS online education course “Concussion in Sports – What You Need to Know.”
Policy 41.1 – All FHSAA member school head coaches, paid/supplemented coaches, and student-athletes are required to annually view the FREE NFHS online education course “Heat Illness Prevention.”
Policy 42.1.1 – All FHSAA member school head coaches, paid/supplemented coaches, and student-athletes are required to annually view the FREE NFHS online education course “Sudden Cardiac Arrest.”
NEW for the 25-26 school year – “Sportsmanship” course is also required for annual viewing.
To view the courses
- Go to www.nfhslearn.com.
- “Sign In” to your account using the email address and password you provided at the time you registered.
OR
If you do not have an account, “Register” for an account.
- Click “Courses” at the top of the page.
- Scroll down to the specific course from the list of courses.
- Click “View Course”.
- Click “Order Course.”
- Select “Myself” if the course will be completed by you.
- Click “Continue” and follow the on-screen prompts to finish the checkout process. (Note: There is no fee for these courses.)
Beginning a Course
- Go to www.nfhslearn.com
- “Sign In” to your account using the email address and password you provided at the time of registering for an nfhslearn account.
- From your “Dashboard,” click “My Courses.”
- Click “Begin Course” on the course you wish to take.

Participating Home Educated Students | $700 one-time fee |
Participating Full-Time Online Students | $1,650 one-time fee |
* The above Athletic fees do not include uniform fees for personal, non-returnable items that some individual sports may require, as well as mandatory and optional game day apparel. Coaches will make this information available at the team parent meeting.
