STUART- The King’s Academy led from start to finish in a convincing 50-37 win over #9 Martin County (6A) on Tuesday night.  Jade Jones (14 points), Sophia Kateris (13 points), and Bri George (10 points) all had double figures as the Lions snapped a three-game losing streak.

TKA has struggled with injuries and sickness over the last month, but Tuesday night the Lions roster was largely intact and it showed in the results. They led by nine at the half and held off a late Tiger rally to secure the win.  Julia Vazquez returned from an ankle injury, a setback that largely contributed to the Lions previous losses.

The Lions touch match ups will continue throughout January with the scheduled highlighted with games against #5 Westminster (3A) and #4 Doral (7A) on the docket.
